2019 Morning Fasting BG Readings

Lee - I am glad you are feeling better.  One idea that occurred to me is that if the heat is extreme at night, you may be waking up dehydrated.  Perhaps some electrolyte drink first thing to get things balanced?

On days that I will be riding long, I chug a bottle of electrolyte with breakfast and it helps markedly.

A footballer delivered the groceries & he said he was exhausted after work one day & his wife rang his  sports GP.

He advised him to drink 2 bottles of powerade zero & rest a while.

Yes even the nights here can be hot.

Perhaps with me getting close to senior age makes me less tolerant to our Summers but they are worse then Ive known .

A 115 (6.38) today.  I'm beginning to wonder in my Lantus insulin has gone bad.  I never get readings that high, and the last few days my readings have been in the 90's, even though I increased my nightly Lantus dose.  Tomorrow's reading will let me know if my Lantus is bad.
