I'm looking for state jobs but having a major time finding them even when I have help from the state job placement office. I think mainly from my age and I do live in a college town. Thinking about moving too another city where they have factory jobs. Can I with one eye work on assembly line? Thinking about working for Nissan. Been told it's a fast pace. The state that helping me find a job doesn't think I should work for a factory and just work washing dishes at a resturant.

The problem with going to work at an auto assembly plant is the evolution of automation. Had automakers their druthers...everything would be handled by robots. Any jobs required by humans will probably be based on how long someone's worked for the company. Maybe look for a job where they're willing to train you...building and/or servicing robots! :)
