PatriciaJ 129 Report post Posted June 17 My doctor told me 5 years ago that I'm pre-diabetic. Yesterday I ate a Mr. Goodbar candy bar, some salted peanuts, and 10 peanut M&M's. BS one hour later = 116. Then had dinner of beef patty, fried onions, green bean casserole, and salad. One hour later BS = 94. Two hours later BS = 92. I drank a lot of unsweetened iced tea before and after dinner. I'm quite surprised at these numbers. What do you think make of this?
meyery2k 22,900 Report post Posted June 17 One possibility might be that you used the glucose to rebuild glycogen reserves in the liver if those were low or depleted. Personally, I have laso had this happen but I find if I continue the trend, my numbers eventually start to creep upwards.
