Colder this morning than yesterday.  46.  It's too early to be this cold down here.  Seems like the whole country is experience colder than normal temps though.  Oh well.  Sure beats it being 80 this time of the morning like in summer.

I don't know why it is so high, I didn't eat anything out of the ordinary.

My anxiety levels have been high worrying about the election, I had indigestion last night and I have been up since 2.

Anyhow I went out and voted at 6 AM thinking that I would beat the lines... wrong! It seems that many others had the same idea. The school parking lot was full and the line snaked around the parking lot with around 150 people, the wait was 45 minutes. I voted at the same voting precinct (it is in the elementary school where I went to school) for over 50 years and there never was any lines before.

Everyone was masked except one guy.

139 this morning.  I forgot to wear my CPAP.  It's amazing how much stress not breathing will put on your body.

7.

I had to wear a mask for the first time at the vets. It was stipulated when I made the appointment.

2 other clients there without appointments nor masks. One was new there & said it was because they were the closest to home.

9yr old kid speaks up with " no mum, the vets we just went to & walked out is closer to home."  Mum kept looking ahead at the receptionist but her hands were frantically waving "stop" to the boy . Ya cant lie in front of a child.

Theres no known covid cases in this region so very few wear a mask.

On the island of Lanai, there were no cases until 10/20/2020.  There are now 101.  It is frightening to see how quickly infections ramp up once it gets into a community.  2 assisted living homes here on the Big Island were devastated with many deaths.  I am glad you are not being complacent Lee.  Early on, my PCP mentioned that our island was in the midst of a fairly active flu season.  When everyone masked up, flu cases dropped like flipping a switch.  That really demonstrated to me that distance and masks, while not perfect, offer significant protection.

Flu cases were  very low here also & it showed in the days people used to take off as sick.

I'll not become complacent even though I know others snigger at the precautions I take.

I dont even go out to shop nor get my hair cut. I try not to pat dogs so keep a pocket full of treats to give them without touching.

Covid virus checks are done at sewerage outlets & if detected, that region gets isolated.

Borders are beginning to open up between states  & I hope that doesnt create outbreaks.

Isolation is still my choice apart from an emergency vets visit.

93 today.  I suppose if a cat likes 1 box, 2 boxes are better.  This was dusk.  Those clouds made good on their promise as it was a rainy night.

Mike, I enjoy your weather pics which also teaches me the names of cloud formations.

The beaurea of meterology is creating a calendar for next year & includes the mammatus cloud

I guess you know your " different " when you look at this pic & silently scream 'that bloody tree does not belong there & it will suck up the water from that creek' ( Weeping Willow ).

Round balls of clouds droop out of the sky over the mountain range, Oberne Creek NSW

Could not test this morning, Amazon lost my package with test strips :(

WHen I still had several I tested throughout the day and BG was going as low as 89 between meals; I figured I will follow fasting guru advice and stop snacking between breakfast, lunch and dinner and it helped a lot. Morning BG was 135 last time I tested.

Mike,  At first I thought you forgot to Capitalize the cats name. Dusk would make a nice name. Although I now realize it is not hers. Beautiful, happy cat. Thanks for sharing.
