COVID-19 vaccine

Recommended Posts

Hammer

Dowling, I knew that some people here would try to discredit this doctor, but the 4 nurses that were there, stated what they had experienced with people who had been vaccinated.  You might want to try and discredit the doctor, but how can you argue against what these nurses have actually seen with vaccinated people?  The doctor explained in detail, how the vaccines work, and how they alter your DNA, and you think that they are safe?  You may not suffer from any side effects from the vaccine, but wait a year, then come back and tell me that you're okay.  The problem with doctors is that they don't associate blood clots, liver damage, kidney damage and any other organ damage to the vaccines because the damage can occur months later after the vaccine.  Let's see the death toll a year from now from the vaccines, maybe then you'll see why I refuse to get vaccinated.

Not all doctors or nurses are reputable & it pays to check  those you recommend.

Dr Tenpenny is an osteopath, not a viroligist .

Dr Tenpenny for example is an antivaccer claiming it causes autism, yet no cases can be directed to the vaccine.

She is also one of 12 that are in dispute with the BBC claiming falsehoods

https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-56536390

From wiki..

Tenpenny had scheduled a speaking tour in Australia to occur starting in February 2015, but in January, after objections were raised to her anti-vaccination views, all the venues at which she was scheduled to speak cancelled the talks, and the tour was called off.[4][5] Tenpenny has been criticized by the Stop The Australian Anti-Vaccination Network for "endangering people's health" and "targeting vulnerable parents".[3]

Since 2017, Tenpenny and her business partner, Matthew Hunt, have taught a six-week, $623 course titled "Mastering Vaccine Info Boot Camp" designed to "sow seeds of doubt" regarding public health information. During the course, Tenpenny explains her views on the immune system and vaccines, and Hunt instructs participants on how best to use persuasion tactics in conversation to communicate the information.[6]

Hammer--As I said before doctors and yes nurses are people and some people have bought into all kinds of weird theories that in no way resemble the truth.

Just how can vaccines alter your DNA--it's impossible. All any vaccine does is teach your immune system to recognize a threat and attack it and slowly disappear. All vaccines do not remain in the body. That's why you have to get boosters occasionally or as in the case of the the flu shot yearly. You ask the families of the 260,000 Americans who have died from Covid if they wish their was a vaccine to save their loved ones and I'll bet you'd get a resounding YES.

I was vaccinated for smallpox when I was in grade school. A few years later I was vaccinated for Polio. I have never had any effect from either  vaccine in the around the 70 years since. I had measles, mumps, chicken pox and whooping cough when I was in grade 1 and I'm thankful for  vaccines that saved my son from getting all of them. He's 51 now and has never had any problems from any of those vaccines. I don't foresee any harm to any of us from the Covid vaccine in a year from now or ever. I'm thankful that scientists have given us a way to combat this deadly disease

These people have no idea of how the vaccines work and don't want to hear the truth. They hear DNA and right away they jump on the bandwagon manufacturing bogus theories. They do harm by convincing others of their made up lies. In truth it's the DNA of the virus that's altered not the DNA of people

An osteopathic doctor deals with the musculoskeleton  system and has never studied the immune system so how can she have knowledge about vaccines. I say your Dr. Tenpenny is a quack and should have her licence revoked. She is as bad a Qanon in bilking people and making false claims.

Yes some people do have allergic reactions to some vaccines but then you can have an allergic reaction to any medication or food or environmental things. That doesn't make the vaccine the culprit because a few people have an immune system that reacts to some part of the vaccine. That reaction has no relation to the safety of the vaccine.

Instead of quacks, I offer https://peterattiamd.com/pauloffit2/ (Paul Offit is a pediatrician specializing in infectious diseases and an expert in virology and vaccine development.)

and https://peterattiamd.com/peterhotez3/ (Peter Hotez is an internationally recognized physician-scientist in neglected tropical diseases and vaccine development.)

No one would have a personal experience with these doctors. Unlike your family doctors they don't have patients.  Like DR. Fauci they are Doctors but also Immunology specialists and scientists and unless you are in that field or a friend you wouldn't know them but you don't have to know someone to trust their expertise. Their credentials speak for themselves

No. I'm not in medicine either, so my vouching shouldn't carry that much weight. Check their references and decide for yourself. I can say I found them much more convincing than Tenpenny speaking of the mark of the beast.

I don't know them too but, I'm looking forward that their contributions in the field of medicine is stunning, especially in developing vaccines.  I salute them for all their hard works!

I've known them only by news and their articles circulating online. As to the vaccines, as long as its efficacy is proven then there would be no problem. Many are already vaccinated and they seem all working fine.

Tenpenny is back. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWHZgzWg-1U https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2021/jun/09/sherri-tenpenny/sherri-tenpenny-makes-false-covid-19-vaccine-magne/

Explains a few things I've noticed lately. My glasses don't slip down my nose, my direction finding has improved greatly, and I'm attracted to or repelled by others who've been vaccinated.😀

How stupid can they get. Apparently stupidity runs rampant in this quack. Magnetized !!-You've got to be crazy to believe that. I've had both doses of Pfizer vaccine and I can handle my gardening tools the same as always. They don't stick to me. I would like a little magnetism in my hair to keep the pins from slipping out of my hair when I'm working. A necessity until I can get a haircut but then I don't believe this whacky story and my fine hair will just have to stay unruly  for a short while.

Thanks for that link Stevenal, this woman is a nut case.  Anyone who knows anything about magnetism, knows that only certain types of metal objects can contain magnetism, people can't.

Hammer,

I'm glad you agree. You do realize this is the very same Tenpenny whose interview link you posted May 14?

Yes, but now I'm seeing how crazy this woman is.  The links that I posted were e-mailed to me by a friend, which is why I posted the links here, without bothering to check to see the background of this woman.

I don't know if you need to subscribe to GAB, but if not, here is yet more proof as to why I'm against the vaccine.  I'm sure that people here will again, try to discredit this video, like they have for all of the other video links that I've posted here, but this one might be difficult to discredit, since this guy adds a video clip of Dr. Yeadon, former VP of Pfizer, and what Dr. Yeadon has to say about the vaccines.

Again a Fox News made up story for anti-vaccers. Dr. Yeadon had nothing to do with the Vaccine but has become an advocate for anti-vaccers and in the process has made millions. He was fired from Pfizer in 2011 for his nonprovable theories. Not the way a scientist should act. A scientist can't just go on theory. They have to have the facts and Yeadon didn't. After he was fired and the vaccine was in use he said the vaccine would cause infertility in women--wrong. He said it would cause birth defects in unborn children and the facts have proved him wrong. He also said masks were not necessary. Theory after theory was shot down by the facts

This was supposed to be a segment on children dying from the vaccine. The sticking point is that the vaccine is not approved even for emergency use in children under 12. Right now they are only in clinical trials and they don't think it will be ready for children until fall. There have been no children's deaths from the vaccine-even in teens but almost 300 children have died from Covid. With the new stronger variants of the disease I expect there will be more dying from this terrible disease.

It is a fact that the vaccine will protect you from serious Covid and from dying. It is also a fact that the vaccine is safe and effective. My whole family has been vaccinated including the teens with no adverse effects as have millions of others. Have you seen the news about Covid in Brazil and India and the people dying in hallways and not receiving treatment because hospitals are overwhelmed and no vaccine  is available. Have you seen the mass graves. That's what it would be like the world over without vaccines.

Excuse me if I'm wrong about Vincent James working for Fox News. I confess that I never watch that channel. If I'm wrong I'm sorry. I didn't check my facts on that point but everything else I said is true and was fact checked

I mentioned, a few weeks ago, that my friend visited the mainland and came back with COVID.  He is the president of a large (for Hilo anyway) radio station and the head coach of the UH-Hilo woman's volleyball team.  He shared his experience in this article...

A true lesson for the unvaccinated. If he got that sick after being vaccinated he probably would have died without the vaccine, A lesson too for those of us who are vaccinated--masks are a necessity and social distancing from the unvaccinated too until this disease is conquered

I'm glad you take this pandemic serious. However, remember that wearing a mask does little to protect the wearer. Don't get complacent and enter a crowded enclosed place thinking that if you wear a mask you have some protection. Also, be aware that this disease will not likely ever be fully conquered. It will be with us for the remainder of our lives. I just hope that it will become a much weaker virus and not remain deadly.

Sadly, after looking really good, we are in the midst of our worst surge yet.   It is believed July gatherings, increased tourism, and community spread among the unvaccinated are key factors.

I was disappointed to not participate in any of the theatre events that have, and are occurring, this summer.  The article was a good reminder to maintain discipline and the surge seems to be evidence that we tried to go back to normal a little too early perhaps.

Yes I've taken this virus seriously from the start. Wearing a mask does protect you to a degree but not entirely. Keeping your distance does too. I always avoid crowded places even with no pandemic but I do occasionally eat in a restaurant when I can get someone to go with me. Mostly I'm at home or in my small community where we have hardly any outbreaks. Right now our case count is 0.

I too believe that this virus will stay around for a while but it would be less likely if everyone were vaccinated. I fear for those little children who can't yet be vaccinated and their parents who have to walk a fine line. This Delta variant is so deadly and is attacking children and some have died from it
