Are you on a diet to lose weight?

ok I'm back up tp 302.2 I've got a grocery delivery today preparing to get back on low carb tomorrow. Going to be starving and have the low carb flu again but thats ok. It takes me a few days to adjust. I was going to get atkins chocolates but i dont want to consume sugar alcohol. I know some ppl say you can gain weight from them and everyone disagrees on how to count them as carbs. The pecan clusters are $1.50 per piece which is BS as well. They really take advantage

    Football and boxing questions...

I can answer the boxing question. 10 pts. for being the knocker overrides 8 pts. for being the knockee. So both fighters get 10 pts for the round.

    Football and boxing questions...

I have never been able to find the answer to these two questions, so I thought that maybe someone here might be able to answer them for me. First, the football question....if team "A" has the ball, and the runner is running down the sidelines, and when he gets to his 40 yard line, he is tackled, but as he is being tackled, he fumbles the ball. The ball bounces forward for two yards, then bounces out of bounds at the 42 yard line....two yards farther than where he fumbled the ball. Now you can't fumble the ball forward, so the ball is placed at the point where the fumble occurred...the 40 yard line. Okay, so if team "A" has the ball, the runner is running down the sideline and he gets tackled at team "B's" 1 yard line, but he fumbles the ball at the one yard line, the ball bounces forward two yards into the end zone, but then bounces out the side of the end zone, why is the ball then declared a touch back, and given to team "A" on their own 20 yard line? If the ball can't be fumbled forward, shouldn't the ball be placed at the spot where the team "A" player fumbled the ball, which would be at the 1 yard line? The second question is about boxing. I have watched many boxing matches, and here is something that I don't understand. At the beginning of each fight, they always say that the match is a 10 point must system, meaning that one boxer will get 10 points if he wins the round, and the other boxer will get 9 points for that round. If boxer "A" knocks down boxer "B", then boxer "A" will get 10 points for the round and boxer "B" will only get 8 points for the round. So what happens if boxer "A" knocks down boxer "B", then later in the same round, boxer "B" knocks down boxer "A"? If it's a 10 point must system, how is that scored? If you get knocked down in a round, then you only get 8 points, but if you are both knocked down, then you should both get only 8 points, but if it is a 10 point must system, who would get the 10 points and why?

    The death of privacy!

I think you are being a bit paranoid or that you give out info willy nilly or you are to into what goes on on television. My guess is that someone told whoever sent the message that you were going out to dinner at that restaurant. I can't imagine what watching the activities of an ordinary citizen would mean to anyone or what use the info they'd get would be to anyone. I guard my privacy. I never give out any information on my life or finances unless I know who needs it and why. If I'm suspicious they get nothing. Any sensitive info must be given in person not on line or over the phone and then I must have proof of who you are and who you are working for. I never give donations over the phone either. You never know if it's legit or a scammer. It's sad that you can't trust people these days but that's life in this day and age

    Daily Chat

I recently subscribed to Reader's Digest", and they send me a daily letter with links to various articles. I just received this one today, and I think that a lot of people might be interested in it. I doubt that most people had no idea about the purpose of many of these things...like why does that pop tab on the tops of soda cans that opens them up, have a hole on one side of it?....or what is the plastic lid on fountain drinks used for besides preventing the contents of the cup from spilling out if the cup is moving (like if you are walking with it or in car.) Why is there a little arrow on your car's fuel gauge? Why is there a hole in your stove top pot's handle, besides to hang it up if you have hooks in your kitchen for it. Why do beers often come in long neck bottles? There are a bunch of these little known facts in the above link.

    The death of privacy!

Buddy, in the futuristic movie "Minority Report", you can get a glimpse of what the future holds. In the movie, as you walk through a shopping mall, iris scanners are located everywhere, and they scan your eyes as you walk past them, and they know who you are, what your shopping habits are, and they project a three dimensional person holding some product, explaining to you what it is, and tries to get you to come into the store that is next to you, to buy that product. Heck, today, they have license plate scanners located practically everywhere, that scans every car's license plate number and feeds that information to a central database, so police can track you where ever you go. There was a TV show here that I think was called, "Hunted", where people wrote in, asking to be "Hunted", which meant that at any given time, the TV show's producers would approach those people and tell them that they were on the show, and they had 60 minutes, before the hunt would begin. If the hunted people were able to elude capture for, I think it was a month, then they would receive $150,000 in cash. Watching that show, the hunters were from different law enforcement agencies, and they showed how they were able to track the "hunted" people. They used the license plate readers to get real time locations on your car if you drove it. They used real time video from surveillance cameras from anyplace that had cameras set up, they used real time video from ATM machines, where the "hunted" had to go to withdraw money using a debit card that they were given by the show and were forced to use. (they couldn't use any other money, just what they could withdraw with the card, and there was a weekly limit on how much they could withdraw.) Watching the show for one season, very few people made it without being caught.

    The death of privacy!

Big Brother Is Watching You: The Giant Conspiracy to Destroy Your Right to Privacy. Some weeks ago, I took my family to a reputable restaurant to celebrate a belated birthday, we all had a wonderful evening, must’ve got home just after 10 o’clock, log into my cell/mobile phone. A message popped up, hope you had a great time at the name restaurant we’ve just left. A point to make had my phone on me, but I did not use my phone, ATM or credit card. My privacy felt a little infringed. Now they can see your door and hear what’s going on in your house. They can tailor marketing to your consumption patterns. They can fine-tune delivery to catch you when you’re home. In theory, they can even let themselves in. How scary is that? The Government is monitoring one’s actions and intentions as a means of controlling and suppressing the will of the populace. How you can once again be a PRIVATE Citizen?

7 for me while remembering the crushing time when my dad died so many years ago. My condolences to you & your family FunDad. Mike you had a wonderful teacher even if his name created many giggles. The two uppermost memories I have of 6th grade was that it was the last year girls were allowed to be caned & I was caned a lot . The best memory was of an Italian boy coming to school when Australia welcomed immigration after WW11. Dominic & his family spoke no English , so the school had to learn a little Italian to make him feel welcome. That was a nice gesture for those difficult times.

Yes, exercise can increase your BG levels. The reason for this is because, when exercising, your muscles require glucose for energy, so your liver releases more glucose to supply your muscles with additional glucose, to allow you to continue to exercise.
